Mathematical Biology & Bioinformatics Lab

The main focus of our work is on quantitative analysis of biological processes. We apply mathematical modeling and experimentation to study gene regulation, epigenetics, host-pathogen interactions and development. In addition members of our lab work on analysis of plant genomics and transcriptomics, as well as on development of new bioinformatics and statistical methods and programs to accelerate plant breeding and creation of new varieties.

We also supervise bachelor and master programs in bioinformatics at our University.
